Verification is how you get paid, and how buyers know your storefront is real. It is also how EyeCandyVids meets its record-keeping obligations under federal law. This page explains what we ask for, why, how long review takes, and what happens to your documents afterward.
A verified badge asserts two specific things: that Exipher Ventures LLC has matched the account holder's face to a valid government-issued photo identification document and confirmed their legal name and date of birth, and that consent documentation and the records required by 18 U.S.C. §2257 are on file for every performer in that Creator's published content.
It is worth being equally clear about what the badge does not assert. It is not a rating or an endorsement of content quality. It is not a guarantee of any performer's future conduct, communication, or delivery of custom orders. It is not a warranty by the Company about the content itself, and it does not shift responsibility for content from the Creator to the Company; under the Content Creator Agreement the Creator remains the primary producer of their depictions and keeps their own records.
Separately, visitors to the site may be asked to complete age assurance through our third-party provider AgeChecked (AgeAware) where state law requires it. That check applies to buyers and browsers, and completing it does not verify a creator account.
There is no unverified publishing tier, for three reasons.
Have everything ready before you start. Submitting it all at once is the fastest path through review.
| Stage | Target | What is happening |
|---|---|---|
| Submission received | Immediate | Documents encrypted and queued, with on-screen confirmation. |
| Automated checks | Minutes to a few hours | Document authenticity, expiry, legibility, face match. |
| Human review | Within the 24 to 72 hour band | Identity, name consistency, per-performer records. |
| Decision issued | 24 to 72 hours from submission | Approval, correction request, or rejection with reason. |
| Badge and uploading | Immediately on approval | Badge shown, publishing and payout setup unlocked. |
Submissions arriving on a weekend or US public holiday, involving several performers, or requiring a Custodian of Records review commonly land at the longer end of that band.
Most stalled first submissions are not rejections but correction requests, and the causes are mundane: glare across the ID, a cropped corner, an expired document, a blurry selfie, a tax form name that does not match the ID, or a consent form that is undated, unsigned, or does not name the specific scene. We tell you exactly which document to replace, and you replace only that one.
A rejection is issued where a document cannot be authenticated, the face match fails, the account holder cannot be confirmed to be at least eighteen, or the submission shows signs of a forged or borrowed document. You may resubmit with corrected documents within [RESUBMISSION WINDOW — CONFIRM]. If you believe a rejection was an error, reply to the decision message or write to [email protected] with the subject prefix [CREATOR] and a second reviewer will look at it. Repeatedly submitting altered or fraudulent documents closes the account permanently and may be reported to law enforcement.
Verification is not a one-time event. We will ask again when a new performer appears in content you submit, when an ID on file expires, when you change payout or tax details, on a routine re-check cycle of [PERIODIC RE-VERIFICATION INTERVAL — CONFIRM], and whenever a credible report about your account or content reaches moderation. Publishing and payouts pause until the request is satisfied, so it is worth replacing an expiring ID before it lapses.
Verification documents are the most sensitive data we hold. They are transmitted over encrypted connections, stored encrypted, and kept separate from your public profile. Access is restricted to the small number of trained personnel who perform verification, compliance, and records functions, and to our identity verification and payout providers to the extent they need it to deliver their service. Access is logged. These documents are never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with buyers or other Creators.
Because the records exist to satisfy statutory obligations, retention is driven by law rather than preference: we keep them for the period required by 28 C.F.R. Part 75 and other applicable law, and after an account closes for [DOCUMENT RETENTION PERIOD AFTER ACCOUNT CLOSURE — CONFIRM] or any longer period required by a legal hold or open investigation. Full detail on categories, purposes, providers, and your rights is in the Privacy Policy.
No. Your storefront shows only the stage name and profile details you choose. Your legal name is used internally for identity, tax, and payout purposes, and it reaches our payout provider because it must match your payout account. It is not published and buyers never see it.
No. Buyers never see any verification document, performer ID, or consent form. They see only the badge on your storefront.
Partly. A performer may redact the document number, issuing office details, license class, restrictions and endorsements, height, weight, eye color, and any organ donor or veteran marking. The legal name, date of birth, and photograph must remain fully legible, and the document must stay recognizable as a genuine government-issued ID. A redaction that obscures the name, date of birth, or face makes the record unusable for §2257 purposes and will be returned for correction.
Your storefront closes and your content is unlisted, but verification and consent records cannot be deleted on request, because federal record-keeping obligations continue after publication stops. They are retained for the statutory period described above under the same access restrictions, then deleted. Requests about non-statutory data can be made under the Privacy Policy.
Ready to start? Read the Content Creator Agreement first, since verification confirms the representations you make in it, then open the verification form in your creator dashboard. If a document is unusual, if you work with performers outside the US, or if you are unsure what to redact, ask before you submit: see Contact Us or email [email protected] with the subject prefix [CREATOR].
